VI GIVES in Kenya: A Journey of Connection, Conservation, and Compassion

This spring, five dedicated animal welfare enthusiasts embarked on a life-changing journey through Kenya as part of our VI GIVES program, which connects VI supporters with immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences to see conservation in action. From the moment they arrived, participants were immersed in the breathtaking beauty of the African landscape and the profound work being done to protect its iconic wildlife.

Over the course of their travels, participants met veterinarians, students, conservationists, and community leaders—all united by a shared commitment to One Health: the interconnection between animals, people, and the environment. Whether observing veterinary care up close or visiting local conservancies, each moment offered a powerful reminder of the impact that skilled, compassionate action can have on the future of endangered species.

At Veterinarians International, we are grateful to everyone who joined us on this unforgettable journey. VI GIVES Immersive Experiences are more than just travel—they are opportunities to witness the heart of our mission in action and to connect with people who are shaping the future of animal welfare and conservation.

Ready for your own VI GIVES experience?
We’re thrilled to announce that our upcoming Immersive Experiences will take us to Sri Lanka and South Africa, where participants will again have the opportunity to explore extraordinary landscapes, support vital animal care programs, and experience One Health in action.
