We have some exciting updates for you this Fall!
Our Third Annual Trunks of Love Gala was a huge success raising over $150,000 to support our programs in Kenya, Guatemala, Chile and Thailand. As a result, thousands of animals will be provided with medical care and families will be armed with life-saving education on human and animal health care! Because of your support, our partners in Chile are in the process of purchasing and outfitting an animal ambulance that will be used as a first-response vehicle to rescue and aid animals in natural disasters- stay tuned for photos! Pictured above are devoted honored guests Jane Gill and Bruce Weber with honoree Cornelia Guest and loving owl Meep in the middle smiling with joy.
The event hosted by Katie Cleary of World Animal News honoring Dr. Jane Goodall, Cornelia Guest and Penni Ludwig, was held on Friday, August 11th at Dopo La Spiaggia East Hampton, and generously underwritten by Maurizio Marfoglia with wine and cocktails provided by Palm Bay International. We are so grateful to our sponsors and supporters for making this evening successful. A special thanks to Don and Amanda Mullen, Penni Ludwig, Bruce Weber and Nan Bush, Howard and Christina Blaustein, Andy Sabin and Nicolas Dupart and Rebekah Caudwell-for we wouldn’t be here without you!
Legendary fashion photographer Bruce Weber presented Cornelia’s award. He was recently featured In New York Times magazine which you can find here

Our Rural Veterinary Campaign in Chile is about to begin!
It’s time for our GAAP team to hit the road and get out to some of the rural areas around Valdivia to bring veterinary services to remote areas.
Our team is trying something new this year. Given rural residents can’t afford $50.00 or more for sterilization and vet care, they will be using agricultural and artisan products as currency, where they will “compensate” for the use of the supplies with an equivalent value of their own produce that we will then donate to local families and homes in need.
Do you want to support the vaccination, sterilization and other veterinary care services to residents of rural Chile? Your support will help us purchase vaccines, anesthetics, and other veterinary supplies.
